The track shorts are an awesome gender neutral pattern! I love it when my girls and boys can match with each other.

Binding can be tricky if you're just starting out. Checkout the tutorial on the website and practice on scraps before sewing on the shorts!

Additional Details:
Sizes NB-9/10. I would highly suggest sizing DOWN for girls. Because these shorts are gender neutral they run a tad big. I find they fit cuter on the girls if they’re a little smaller, but if your girly likes the bigger/longer shorts then go ahead and pick her true size. Elastic width will also change the rise slightly. For my daughter I like to size down and use 1 1/4” elastic!

The confirmation email will give you the option to view your order where you can download your files. Lots of options! Be sure to check your promotions/spam/junk folders if the email with the file links doesn't come to your inbox.

Troubleshooting:
- If the whole pattern prints on a single page, you likely opened the wrong file (use Letter/A4, not A0 or Projector).
- If lines look fuzzy or misaligned, try “Print as image,” make sure your printer driver is up to date, and restart your computer.

I can’t make enough of these stylish comfy toddler shorts! I didn’t own a serger at time I made these & pattern is a quick sew, containing great instructions, and don’t let the binding shy you away- there’s a great tutorial provided! Binding quilts for past 4 yrs definitely came in handy, but I still watched the video! Love love love these!
Love this pattern so much. Great one if you like binding which I am currently obsessed with. There is video support available as well. Will definitely me making more of these. I used French Terry which was perfect fabric for this project.

My grandson picked this pattern and of course I’m going to make them. I was terrified of the binding and I will be truthful it took a few try’s. I watched some videos and read a few hints a BAM :boom: I got it. They are super and the younger one had to have a pair.
It was an easy pattern to sew! I would have preferred to have the inside edges finished, it was a little weird that they were left raw. But the fit is wonderful and the style great for boys and girls!
Absolutely love the style, they remind me of the 90s! Extremely true to size and a simple sew! Binding intimidated me for so long, it's not as hard as it sounds! I highly recommend the pattern!

Such a great pattern!!! simple quick and easy. I give the pattern 4 stars as I feel there could have been a bit more instruction/ steps in the tutorial. Ive been sewing for years and just within the past two years sewing with knits and the cure on the binding is going to take some practice. Overall I am thrilled with this pattern and so glad I found LLKids! I can't wait until the fabric I ordered especially for LLkids patterns comes in so I can sew all the things!!!!
