Slant Pocket Skinnies
Think joggers and leggings mixed together with a thick yoga waistband. They are not only super comfortable but they look good for almost any occasion. They’re a skinny fit but you can always size up in leg width to make them slightly more relaxed. We love these pants so much!

Some fabric types I love to use for the skinnies include: french terry, cotton lycra, and jersey. The waistband works best with rib or something with good recovery since there is no elastic.

These are such a cute slim legging! I wanted to try these because my daughter at 18 months has discovered pockets, and is obsessed! The first pair I made according to instructions fit well, aside from the pockets stick out and look a bit awkward. I made a second, but added narrow bands to the pocket openings to draw them together a bit, as well as top-stitched down the pockets, and it was successful in keeping them from bulging outward. I’m sure we will make plenty more skinnies over the years. Thank you for a great and easy pattern. She is 18 mo, and measuring between 18-24 and 2T. These are 2T, as seasonally we will soon be mostly in shorts and I wanted them to fit for this upcoming fall and winter.

It was totally easy to sew these skinnies! I made an outfit for my little cutie consisting of the slant pocket skinnies and chinch sweater. We love it! Every instruction and pattern is made with love and many details! Really recommend it!

Really loved this pattern. I made it for my 3 year old daughter and she loves it too. I am not cutting more pairs! Really well drafted and I love the fit on her. They are a step up from the basic kids pants in terms of look, but still very easy to make.
A pretty straight forward sew. Nothing challenging and they come out looking great. I haven't put them on a child yet so I don't know about fit but lowland usually has great sizing so I'm sure it's fine.
The pattern is very well written and easy to follow. My daughter is very picky about the foot off clothes and she finds them very comfortable. He only complain is that the pockets are not deep enough and therefore not that functional.

Super easy straight forward sew! Loved the end result I made 3 pairs in a couple hours. They fit miss 6 like a glove. Instructions were really simple to follow and pattern is well drafted! LOVE lowland patterns so much I just brought 6 more :laughing:

This pattern is so easy to whip up! I love the knit waistband which I prefer and the pockets Are so fun and add that cute extra detail. For a simpler look they look like a skinny joggers without pockets which is even faster to sew. We have a hard time finding pants for all my kids as they are all so skinny so these Are a go to pattern for me!
These are super adorable and easy to make. The only downfall is how SKINNY the thighs are. I would say my baby is not skinny nor chunky and the thigh area was tight to where the pockets puckered out. I will make these again but will add more room for the diaper and thigh area.
