Lowland Letterman

The lowland letterman is the perfect jacket to show off your “team”.  It comes in sizes NB - 9/10 years. There is an option of welt pockets, and two different waistband construction methods (they look basically the same but the first one doesn’t have a seam on the tab). You can find a video tutorial on the waistband attachment method #1 HERE. The fit of this jacket is amazing and we hope you love it!

Sizes & Fabric Quantity:
Neckband/cuffs/waistband - ribbing
- 1/2 yard all sizes
Body/sleeves - French Terry (or other thick/cozy knit)
- NB - 12M: 1/2 Yard
- 12M - 4T: 3/4 Yard
- 5T - 9/10: 1 yard

I love to use French Terry For the body and sleeves and 2x1 rib for the neckband, cuffs, and waistband. You can use any knit fabric for the body but for the neckband, cuffs, and sleeves you’ll definitely want rib or another fabric that has a lot of stretch and good recovery.
* 4-8 buttons or snaps of choice
* Letter/Patch (optional)
* Interfacing (optional)

How do I receive my pattern?
Right after purchasing, you will be directed to a confirmation page where you can download the files. You will also receive an email with a link to download your files. You can always log back in and see your files.

It will come in .zip format so it's best to download and save it somewhere on your desktop!

What kind of machine do I need to sew your patterns?
A sewing machine is a must. If you are really wanting to get into making clothing though, I HIGHLY suggest getting a serger. Sergers make everything easier and cleaner. They also sew with knits a lot better than regular sewing machines!

I also own a coverstitch machine which has been a game changer. It's definitely not necessary but it is an amazing machine to have if you want your clothes to have a professional finish.

Can I sell clothes I make from your patterns?
Yes, as long as you are the one sewing the clothes (you may not outsource to a manufacturer or otherwise mass produce the clothes). We love seeing our designs come to life!

Interested in outsourcing or manufacturing? Email us at hello@lowlandkids.com.

We love to see your work and we appreciate when you tag #lowlandkids :)

Can I share patterns I buy?
No. We spend a lot of time and effort on each of our patterns and instructions. If people are interested in using Lowland Kids patterns you've acquired, please direct them to our website.

How Do I know what size to print?
Once you download the pattern, open up the instructions and there is a sizing chart that will help you decide which size to print! If your kiddo is in between sizes you can always take the width of one size and length of another.

Can a beginner sew your patterns?
Yes! We have patterns for beginners and experienced sewists alike. In the description of each pattern there will be a level of difficulty and it's up to you to decide!

Do you support Layers?
YES! Each pattern has layers incorporated so you can just deselect any sizes you don't want to print!
