Lapneck Gown
The Lapneck Gown is for the tiniest babies all the way up to 12 months! Sizes go from Preemie to 12M. For the neck finish you have the option of lapneck or crossover. The bottom features drawstring or knotted options. To finish the sleeves you can choose between regular cuffs or mitten cuffs. This sleeper is our favorite on little babies because it makes those night time diaper changes a breeze!

This is a very easy pattern very easy to sew! Just make sure you put the notches in to line up the pieces!
As a beginner, I was a little puzzled by certain elements of this sewing pattern. I felt that certain key details were missing from the instructions. I’d urge the writers to take a closer look at the pattern and look for areas where they could be more specific.

I can’t wait to see a baby in this! I don’t have Internet at home, so I wasn’t able to read the actual instructions... But even with only the pattern pieces (excellently marked-by the way) , this was fantastically easy and quick to sew! I used French terry even for the binding (I didn’t have ribbed-which I would have preferred) but it still worked out great! I’m going to make hundreds more, I’m sure! Thank you!
I've been wanting a overlap gown with the tie at the bottom. And the inclusion of fold over cuffs was amazing. I especially have been wanting a projector pattern, so I was super pumped about this addition. It was perfect and came together so easily. Those fold over cuffs are pure magic!
I’ve tried other gown like this, but this one is my favorite!! It lays just right around the neck without having to be flattened and pressed to look right. It was easy to sew up!

The Lapneck gown is my favorite think to make for babies. I love this pattern and how easy and quick it comes together. I love all the different options it has. It is a perfect base for creative mix and match different prints and color accents.

Of all the baby gown patterns I've used, this one is my favorite. The crossover option makes dressing baby so easy and the knotted ties are so easy to finish using a rolled hem on my serger. Wonderfully drafted pattern!

Loved this pattern. This was the first time I tried Lowland kids patterns. I found it easy to understand and well written. I’ll be using Lowland patterns again.
Initially I was intimidated because of the binding, but it was not difficult. I'm more visual so I had to watch a couple videos beforehand. I used a poly cotton blend and it turned out great.
