Fit & Length
Semi-fitted (shorts version) or fitted (bikini cut), One-Piece
- Full-coverage bottom options including a bikini style or shorts, catering to different preferences.
- The shorts version is a touch looser and is available in sizes NB-6/7, as the fit isn't as suitable for older children.
- The full coverage bikini style is available in NB-9/10 and is fitted. On the bikini cut, diaper coverage goes up to size 2T and non-diaper coverage starts at 12-18 months.
- Choice of short or long sleeves, allowing for style versatility and sun protection

Please note that the fabric requirements below are for both a main fabric and contrasting fabric or liner.
- NB - 6/9M : 3/4 yard/.7 meters
- 9/12M - 2T : 1 yard/1 meter
- 3T - 9/10 : 1 1/2 yard/1.4 meters
- Swim knit or lycra and swim lining - You’ll want a swim knit or lycra that has
good stretch and also good recovery. The usage requirements are for just the
main fabric. You’ll need additional for swim lining. - 1” Nylon zipper (see page 7 of instructions for required lengths)
- Wonder tape (highly recommend for sewing the zipper)

- If the whole pattern prints on a single page, you likely opened the wrong file (use Letter/A4, not A0 or Projector).
- If lines look fuzzy or misaligned, try “Print as image,” make sure your printer driver is up to date, and restart your computer.

Great fit! I adjusted the sides it a bit due to the sizing of my daughter. With great results! love it that the legs are a bit lower than most of the swimming suits. She dit not have to adjust her swimmers even once during class, great!
Lovely pattern and perfect uv-suit. Very small sizes, my son is 4,5yrs old and measurments according to pattern 7/8yrs and it is still pretty tight.

My zipper game isn't strong, but hopefully it will improve over time. But the pattern itself is fantastic and the end result is adorable.
I have just started to work on this pattern using the letter-size home print-out. Page 8 is printed upside down, which took me that better part of the afternoon to figure out and I cannot print just one page. Very frustrating. I have used your patterns in the past and have had not diffuculty.
I LOVE the zip rashguard sewing pattern!! I haven't sewn it with a zipper yet, but I've been making rompers without a zipper end they are seriously super adorable! Just waiting on my liner fabric to make the actual swim suit, and can't wait!
Had trouble to understand how to flip right side out, but once done it was easy. Video helped and easy to follow. The result is so cute that I’ve decided to sew a second one.
Overall great but i had to make some tweak. Lining the back is totally useless. Keep baby warm for no reason + used too much fabrics. So i skip it. Love the gusset to be enclosed. Once again had to modify. I fallow the instruction for the zipper but next one i would do it differently…
Have it all cut out and ready to sew !! Excited to see it done! Very confident with the instructions I have numerous patterns so I know they are perfect in explaining the hows!! Love love love
