Taylor Joggers

$9.00

The Taylor Joggers are bringing joggers to a new level with the knee patch detail that you can make into a fun moto patch! This pattern is perfect for colorblocking! Pockets are optional but you're going to want to add these ones! Because these are a slim fit, the instructions include how to widen the legs if you want to make the shorts version. These pair well with the Oversized Sweater, Seaside Hoodie, and the Hooded Tee

A quick note before you dive in: Our patterns include multiple files so you can sew the way you like—at home on a printer, at a copyshop (A0), or with a projector.

      Quick answers

      • After checkout, you can download your pattern from the confirmation page, from the email we send, or anytime under Account → My Downloads using the same email you purchased with.
      • Your files come in a .zip. It’s easiest to download on a computer, unzip, and you’ll see: Instructions, Letter/A4, A0, and a Projector file.
      • Printing at home? Open the Letter/A4 PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader and print at 100% (Actual Size), then check the test square.
      • Prefer no paper? Use the Projector file. It includes a calibration layer so you can confirm scale before you cut.
      • Need a big print? Send the A0 file to a local copyshop or an online printer.
      • If you get stuck, email hello@lowlandkids.com and we'll be happy to help!

      Downloads & accounts

How do I get my files?
Right after payment you’ll see a download button on the confirmation page. We also email you links in your order confirmation email. And you can log in to our website any time and find everything under View Downloads.

      What pattern files are included?
Four PDFs: Instructions, Letter/A4 (home printing), A0 (copyshop), and Projector.

Can I download on my phone or tablet?
Yes! Check out our Printing and Projector tips page for specific guidance.

      Projector sewing (quick start)

Do your patterns include projector files?
Yes—our current catalog includes projector-optimized files for nearly all patterns. You’ll see “Projector” listed in each download.

      How do I check scale?
Open the Projector file and turn on the calibration layer. Confirm the 1” / 2.5 cm squares measure correctly. If you move your projector or cutting surface, re-check before you cut.

      Any setup tips?
Keep the text/markers layer visible. If labels look faint, check your PDF viewer’s accessibility settings and disable “replace document colors.” You can also enable the black background layer for higher contrast.

      Print-at-home (Letter/A4)

      1. Open the Letter/A4 PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
      2. In the print dialog, choose Actual Size (100%) and auto portrait/landscape.
      3. Print the page with the test square first; measure to confirm scale.

      Troubleshooting:
      • If the whole pattern prints on a single page, you likely opened the wrong file (use Letter/A4, not A0 or Projector).
      • If lines look fuzzy or misaligned, try “Print as image,” make sure your printer driver is up to date, and restart your computer.

      Copyshop / A0

Download the A0 file and send it to a copyshop or an online service. Many sewists print a single master copy and trace sizes as needed.

Note that we protect our patterns by locking the pdf files to prevent editing in tools like Adobe Illustrator. In rare circumstances copy shops might use software that invisibly requests edit access and will show errors when attempting to open our files.

Layers (print only the sizes you need)

All patterns include layers. Open the Layers panel in Acrobat Reader and hide sizes you don’t need. This keeps lines clear and makes grading between sizes easier.

      Sizing & skill level

Each product page shows the skill level and links to the size chart. If measurements land between sizes, it’s common to use the width of one size and the length of another.

      What machines do I need?

A regular sewing machine is all you need to start. A serger is optional but great for knit fabrics and tidy seams. A coverstitch is helpful for professional hems but not required.

Can I sell what I make?

Yes—items must be sewn by you personally. Mass production or outsourcing isn’t allowed. For manufacturing inquiries, email us.

      Need help?

We’re happy to troubleshoot downloads, printing, or projector setup. Email hello@lowlandkids.com and include your order email and a screenshot of your issue if you can.

      I absolutely loved sewing up

I absolutely loved sewing up these joggers! I was a little intimidated to do the moto patches and the front piecing of the pattern. But it turned out to be so easy and simple! The instructions say to pay attention to putting the front leg pieces on correctly, I definitely did not do that and sewed them wrong a few times but that was completely my own fault. These joggers are so adorable and My oldest requested a few pairs for himself as well! That means they are a winner for sure.

Love this pattern, especially the moto patch!

I LOVE this pattern. I was a bit intimidated, but as I worked through the instructions, and watched the Sew-Along videos, it became clear. I love the finished results and when I gave them to my 4 year old grandson for his birthday, everyone was flabbergasted that I had made them! I love love the moto patch and am going to make lots more of these for my grandsons!

Great Pattern & a greatly admired result!

Hi Shalyne & the LK Team, Yes, I think you are heading in the right direction with the patterns & I'm gradually working my way through the ones I have bought. I am not a beginner, but not an advanced sewer either. I can follow instructions really well & have inserted lots of plackets & pockets without a problem. I only had a couple of problems with the Taylor's Joggers which could be easily sorted if necessary in the guidebook instructions. * PAGE 11, photo 2 - 'pockets': The 1st difficulty I had, was with placing the pockets on p11. I stared & stared at the "pockets" photo in the guidebook in puzzlement. It took me quite a while to realise that both sides of the pockets are stitched to the front piece. From the photo, I seemed convinced that the fabric on the right of the two was the back piece - don't ask me why! Total confusion! I did not find the photo that easy to understand the first time round. * PAGE 13, photo 1: The 2nd problem I had was again with the pockets but this time when stitching around the edges of them. On the wrong side of fabric, I was unaware where to stop stitching round the pockets when it was approaching the seam between pieces 1 & 2. Seems an odd thing to say, but as the front & the pocket pieces are flipped right sides out (p11, photo 3), I found it hard to see where to stop. I ended up making the same mistake twice - stitching too far - which when unpicked twice left a little hole in the fabric in piece 1 next to the bottom of the pocket PAGE 13, photo 2: The 3rd & final issue I had was with the front leg pattern - pieces 3 & 4. I could not find pattern piece 4! I looked through the pattern pages umpteen times, but I could not see a piece 4. Of course I didn't realise that it was a part of piece 3! I was looking for a separate pattern piece. I was really puzzled at this point! Where was this missing piece? In truth assembling the pants was very straightforward and the end result looks fabulous. I found the instructions in the guidebook self explanatory apart from where I struggled above! I love the design of the jogging pants & have had many complimentary comments from neighbours who've seen the finished product on my worktop. Thank you!

      Great pattern

I made the no pocket version for my 4 year old. Easy to follow instructions, I did notch my front pieces to make sure I sewed them the right way up. It is a longer length slim fit, a bit different than he is used to. I love the possibilities with colour blocking.

      Comfy but cool

I love love love these joggers! My son is moving into 4T now and where most patterns require more yardage I can still get away with half meter cuts for him with these  They are exactly the right mix of comfy and cool.

      Taylor joggers

Fantastic little pants with lots of details for individuality. Have used other lowland patterns. I love them. Just had a little trouble working out that the pattern pieces for the leg details were not separate pieces, but we’re all part of the front leg pattern. Once I figured that out how to trace off, I was on my way. Will post photos once the waistbands are done. Thank you so much for your great back up service.

      The Front Is Confusing

Not my favorite Lowland Pattern. I have made it twice and find the front very confusing. When it’s time to sew piece 3 to the assembled 1/2 pieces I have a piece 3 that’s a good inch smaller than the combined 1/2 pieces. I have followed seam allowance’s to the T and it just doesn’t fit.
