Sleepy Pants
Designed for ultimate lounging, we love the sleepy pants for so much more than sleeping! With a high waisted, classic fit and choice between a rolled hem and cuffs, these pants are sure to be a wardrobe staple!
Pattern details include:
- Elastic waistband (sewn on then fold over/topstitch)
- Inseam pockets
- High waisted
- Options for cuffs or hemmed (or hemmed and rolled for a 7/8 length)

- Knit - Drapey knits are my favorite fabric to use for these lounge pants! My preferred
fabric is modal french terry but most any knit will do! - Elastic - 1.25" (4cm)

Troubleshooting:
- If the whole pattern prints on a single page, you likely opened the wrong file (use Letter/A4, not A0 or Projector).
- If lines look fuzzy or misaligned, try “Print as image,” make sure your printer driver is up to date, and restart your computer.

These sewed up quickly. I especially like it when the waistband is included in the front and back pieces. I didn’t include pockets for these. I made these in an interlock and they fit her well but can see how a ribbed fabric would lend nicely to this pattern as well.
Very easy instructions. The pants came out very tight on calves, but the size was chosen after actual measurements (my kid is 1y9m old and I chose size 2T) so next time I would make a bigger size.

Sewing the pants was great! The instructions when you are not doing the pockets don’t refer on the fact that the front and back are not the same width ans must be realigned… It was an easy sew and a great pattern as usual!
