Shorties
Shorties are one of our favorite shorts for summer! They're super quick and easy and can be styled in so many different ways. You can also pair them with any of the add on tops to make a romper! The Shorties have been updated to include two fit options - one with no seam in the middle and another with the middle seam and optional side seams.

* We love to use french terry for this pattern. Any knit fabric will work. Wovens can also be used if you size up
* 1 or 1 1/4" waistband elastic
* Drawstring (optional)
NOTE ON THE BIG GIRL SIZES: Through the test process they were coming out pretty short and revealing. Many wanted to keep the big sizes in the pattern so I did but before purchasing I want you to know that they are a lot shorter than regular shorts.

I love to use any knit for these shorties, even french terry for summer! Woven can be used but you'll want to adjust the leg bands if using woven!
Once payment has gone through you will be able to download your files immediately! You will also receive both a confirmation email and an email with a link to download your files. The confirmation email will give you the option to view your order where you can download your files. Lots of options! Be sure to check your promotions/spam/junk folders if the email with the file links doesn't come to your inbox.

- Your files come in a .zip. It’s easiest to download on a computer, unzip, and you’ll see: Instructions, Letter/A4, A0, and a Projector file.
- Printing at home? Open the Letter/A4 PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader and print at 100% (Actual Size), then check the test square.
- Prefer no paper? Use the Projector file. It includes a calibration layer so you can confirm scale before you cut.
- Need a big print? Send the A0 file to a local copyshop or an online printer.

Troubleshooting:
- If the whole pattern prints on a single page, you likely opened the wrong file (use Letter/A4, not A0 or Projector).
- If lines look fuzzy or misaligned, try “Print as image,” make sure your printer driver is up to date, and restart your computer.

I recently discovered LL kids & love all their patterns! I’ve purchased 4-5 different ones so far & these shorties were so easy to sew up! Great instructions & love love the FB group that’s available for sewists. The group gives the best advice & I’ve found that I also enjoy giving advice on those posts that I can confidently provide on! Looking forward to sewing all the patterns! Finished the track shorts yesterday! 🥰 Highly recommend!

Very easy to sew. A great project for beginners. The style is more suitable for babies as they are very short however the pattern can be easily lengthen for older kids.
