I love to use French Terry but any knit fabric will work great. For the binding you can use the same fabric as the body or a coordinating color of ribbing or knit fabric.

Customers loved this sewing pattern for its unique construction & easy assembly. Many praised the "clever pocket design" and "deeper front panel" that prevents neck pushing. The binding was occasionally challenging, with one noting it "seemed a little tighter" at the bottom. Customers appreciated clear instructions & video tutorials, calling it a "quick sew."
Seaside is great for panels! I went the easy route with no pockets but I still love the end result. I made three and with the second and 3rd I added an additional 1/4” to the binding width which was so helpful.
I loved the pattern. Sewed up easily. The pocket seemed a bit hard to understand how it was going to work but honestly was great when finished! My grandson loved it. Have a few more to whip up. Will be more cognizant of bottom band. It seemed a little tighter than I would prefer.
Easy to sew this up, I liked the binding around the hoody that continued through the front. I’ll make it again 😊
The unique way of putting this hoodie together doesn't make it any harder to make! I love that the front is deeper meaning when the hood is down it's not pushing against my sons neck and also makes it easy to put on. It's a slimmer fit than most other hoodie patterns I own which I appreciate

I love this hoodie. It's such a unique method for assembly, but the video instructions were super easy to follow. I plan to use this for both kids Halloween costumes because the front panel is perfect for doing belly designs. Can't wait to make a bunch more of these for fall and winter!
I made this pattern for my 11 year old nephew's birthday, just adding a little to the pattern to make a size 12. It was my first hoodie, and first pocket like that, so I used the tutorial video and it worked perfectly. He was very pleased with it and I love how it turned out. Thank you!

Easy pattern. Pocket was a little confusing at first, but I just followed every step from the attached video. Got it on the first try and it came out amazing!
I love the simple intricacy of this pattern. For me, it was a quick sew with quick,gorgeous, results. I had to study the pocket situation closely, but other then that, I didn’t have any trouble. The instructions were pretty self explanatory. I will definitely be making this again!
Love this pattern! It will be a go-to from now on. I skipped the pockets just because I was in a rush which made it even more simple. I prefer lined goods so I added my own hood and an appliqué. Paired with the lowland jogger pattern with a lounge sweats waistband. Absolute perfection. I’m a very confident beginner or intermediate sewist I’d say.

Great Pattern
This is an adorable pattern. The pockets gave me a little trouble but I got it right! I used some custom print transformers fabric for my grandsons birthday and he loves his shirt. I left the hood off and used a regular crew neck band. Very pleased with it!
