Rashguard Swimsuit
This one is for the swimsuit sleeve lovers!
The pattern includes the option of a one piece Rashguard Swimsuit lined with a keyhole and tie back so it’s easy to get on and off. There is also an unlined regular rash guard option (which you can still add the keyhole if you’d like but you’d need to add liner or bind the hole). On sizes NB — 2T you can also add a snap placket at the crotch for easy diaper changes if desired.
Please note that with a tie on the back, it can be a choking hazard. Please do not leave your child unattended while wearing a garment like this.

The rashguard swimsuit fits absolutely perfectly!! And was so easy to sew, took about 30 minutes from start to finish for the top. Definitely recommend. For the one piece version there is an awesome video tutorial!

I love this pattern! So far I've made the rashguard for my son and it was a perfect fit! I have the swimsuit pattern ready to sew up for my 2 daughter's.
Such a great pattern! I love that it has sleeves and the fit and length of them was great. The size chart was good, my daughter is 14months but wears 18months clothing, so I made size 18-24 and it fit her really well, a little on the tighter side perhaps, I don’t think she will be able to have it after the summer. The instructions were clear enough however I would have liked information about which stitch to use when sewing, for example zigzag 3mm long and 2mm wide for side seams. It helps a lot when using a normal sewing machine to sew. The neck binding I found a little tricky to follow too so I just didn’t my own version that worked. I love that you’ve added snaps at the bottom as an option, maybe specify that they should be plastic snaps. I assume metal ones will rust when in water. One last thing, there were two neck binding pattern pieces in the file. I assume the smaller one was for the top. I think this needs to be clearer in the instructions. Sorry for all the pointers, I really do love this pattern though and I plan on making many many more!

Swimsuit is really cute and fits well. Elastic around the legs will become easier with practice. Plan to make another one soon.
This pattern is gorgeous. Super fast sew and my girl is covered from the sun and looks super cute.
Have not finished it yet, but so far so good. Tried it on my granddaughter and think it will fit perfectly for next summer.
I can’t even knock off a star for the fact that I am having to remake this in a 4T for the kiddo who is a 2T growing into 3T. I mad the 3T thinking it would be big but poor kiddo could not deal with the “wedgie in my butt”! It was really tight all over, but especially in her lower half, especially back rise.
Okay, that out of the way, this suit is so easy to sew up, especially with the help of The YouTuber “Come Create with Kim” (thank you Kim, so so so much). And, it looks so cool with the keyhole in the back with the ties. The flutters are fun and way easier then they look. I think that’s kinda the theme of this suit and a lot of Lowland patterns, it’s is really cool looking and maybe seems intimidating but is so doable and fun. I have never done drop in raglan sleeves before and I LOVE that way of installing sleeves now! And then, even if you don’t do a perfect job, you get this really cut, wonderfully functional, swimsuit that looks awesome. If you have a sewing machine and it have a zigzag stitch and you consider yourself a beginner, you can make this!

Thank you so much for your wonderful patterns. The fit of this rashguard is amazing and my girls are fighting over who gets the next one. This is love. My biggest sadness is that we are at the higher range of sizes. Just cut 2 more.
This pattern came together so much faster than I imagined and has such a professional finish. There isn’t too much binding, which is nice and it would double and a super cute leotard pattern!

I love this suit! Made out of DBP as a test before trying on swim fabric, and it is a hit with my 5 year old. Love the sun protection the long sleeves offer. I will definitely be making more of these.

The rash guard is such a quick and easy sew! Although a fabulous pattern for all levels, it’s particularly a great one for a beginner. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. This is a versatile pattern, great not only for swim, but also for layering in cold weather. A must-buy!

The fit is awesome, such an easy sew and it works great as a leo or an underlayer shirt too if you use Jersey knit.
