Pocket Skirt
This simple skirt is every little girls dream! There are a few various ways to make it! For the waistband, you have a basic option with 1.25" or 2" elastic, or a paper bag waist! There are two cut lengths; short which is meant to hit a couple inches above the knee and regular which should hit at top of the knee. Then of course big amazing pockets for all of their little treasures!

* Jersey and french terry are our favorites for this pattern. Woven can be used for the paper bag option.

Troubleshooting:
- If the whole pattern prints on a single page, you likely opened the wrong file (use Letter/A4, not A0 or Projector).
- If lines look fuzzy or misaligned, try “Print as image,” make sure your printer driver is up to date, and restart your computer.

I made the pocket skirt for the first time today as Xmas gifts for my nieces. I love how easy to read and follow the Lowland Kids patterns are. The skirts came up wonderful using both woven and knit fabrics and I can not wait to gift them. Sorry there is a non lowland item in my pic, this was a photo of my weekend sewing results.
I absolutely loved making the pocket skirt. I did a paper waistband in size 3t for my 2 year old. I was able to sew it quite quickly. :) Can't wait to make more.

Such an easy and quick project. You can Cut and sew it on 2 hours easily. And the result is really great. I missed the part where they say to gather the skirt in the instructions because it's not shown. I had to come back a few times to realize and understand how to finish it.

The waistband pièce of the pattern was not long enough on the 12-18 month.
SO EASY! I’m not great at sewing but this pattern is incredibly easy and quick to make. I made 2 in one hour—that includes cutting (I use a projector!) and I was so impressed I’ve already bought more fabric to make more. So happy with this purchase, the result and the overall easiness to the project.

The pocket skirt will be a staple in my small shop. The sewing directions was spot on and very easy to follow. I would say this is a very beginner friendly pattern for anyone to start learning to sew with. More importantly, who don't enjoy pockets.

Classic easy to read instructions! The waist fit perfectly (when you actually measure your child). All in all, sewn two of these up within an hour and LOVED them!
