Playday Pants
These pants are perfect for play! Relaxed enough for comfort and stylish enough for daily errands. The construction is simple and quick. You can even skip pockets and the yoke for an even faster sew!
When making these pants pay special attention to the inseam measurement. They run long and are meant to bunch a little at the ankle so if you're not sure how you want it to look, I highly suggest making a muslin before cutting into your special fabric.

These pants were a breeze to sew up! I loved making them and will be making more.
I found them to fit a little bit big (probably designed to be baggy), but my child is also petit, so I can’t complain too much. I love the look of the yoke, and my son loves the very deep pockets. Instructions were clear and easy to follow and the pattern was laid out in a way that it was easy to grade between even excessive size differences - made a 3T width and 6m height and it worked! Found the link in the instructions to a YouTube video for pocket binding very helpful as well.

I’m a new to sewing and not finding it easy especially trying to attain a neat finish. I have been making the Playday pants for my 4 grandsons (age from 3years to 6 months ) I have found the waistband elastic most tricky especially as I am using a sewing machine not an interlocker which is shown in the the tutorial videos. I probably made it harder for myself using T shirt material for the pockets to match the tops I have made.
The instructions were so easy to follow & they are perfect for my nephew! Normally pants are too big around the waist for him so I was able to size down in the waist and have the length normal. I love how they turned out!

Love this pattern. Easy to make and very versatile. I’ve made a few pairs and have used French terry and fleece. Would recommend for an everyday pair of pants. I’ve made these in various sizes and they are true to size with no adjustments needed.

Honestly, very easy! But I did not make use of pockets or cowl etc. I did however ask for assistance with regards to material and sizing, and immediately got correspondence with advice which was super helpful! I will def be buying again and downloaded the app!! Thank you!

It’s a nice pants for mij grandson. But when you want seem on the back the pattern is not correct. I have made a small adjustment.
Love these shorts! Sizing is generous but they look fabulous on. Length is spot on and being able to use different fabric for the pockets is a nice touch. Pattern comes together well and pockets are fab. Not made the trouser version yet but definitely will!

I love the look of the pockets with the backwards coverstitch seam. The fact that the pockets can´t come out like the would if the pockets are not sewn down like the are here, is just perfect for my little rock collector :)
A great pattern, not too tight, even for the bigger boys
This pattern was my first discovery in Lowlands Kids patterns.... it certainly won’t be the last. They turned out perfectly! The instructions are thorough and clear. The pattern fits well and they are perfectly on trend. I love that hat you can make the same patterns fir dolls too! (Which I have done!) I am impressed!!
