Kids Sprint Set
Sometimes you just need an outfit that gets it done. I wanted to create a sporty, mix-and-match summer set that my girls would love—something they’d reach for all season long. It had to be comfy, cute, and easy to sew, with no frills but still fun to wear. This set comes in sizes NB - 9/10. It is also available in Youth sizing!

Materials:
- Tank: this tank is meant to be a relaxed fit so you can use most knit fabrics. I prefer a 100% cotton jersey because I like the drape of it best.
- Shorts: the shorts are opposite, they fit very snug and will need a knit fabric with a lot of stretch. Ideally something that has lycra or spandex in it.

- Your files come in a .zip. It’s easiest to download on a computer, unzip, and you’ll see: Instructions, Letter/A4, A0, and a Projector file.
- Printing at home? Open the Letter/A4 PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader and print at 100% (Actual Size), then check the test square.

- If the whole pattern prints on a single page, you likely opened the wrong file (use Letter/A4, not A0 or Projector).
- If lines look fuzzy or misaligned, try “Print as image,” make sure your printer driver is up to date, and restart your computer.

Such a cute little set, and a quick sew! I made 2 for my twins’ second birthday and they were adorable.
I only used the pattern for the shorts from this set. I did round the hemline a bit more because I thought the angle was a bit odd. I used the loose waistband, but made it a little less high with a soft 2 cm wide elastic band. I made the pants from a dark blue sturdy stretch fabric. It was easy to sew with a serger. It is a nice model and fits perfectly. Instead of the tank, I made a short-sleeved sports shirt from a own made pattern. The outfit is for my grandson, and he's in love with it.
We loved this pattern! I made this fun upcycle using this pattern and my son had worn it nonstop sense! Super easy pattern to follow!

I made 2 kits of this Sprint Set. 1st in size 3-6 months for my granddaughter and 2nd in size 3T for my grandson. I also made the Panel Hat in size Toddler and 2 pairs of boxers. This pattern is really quick and easy. It's a MUST !
