Materials:
- Knit - the best fabric type to use for this romper is a medium or heavy weight
knit with good structure such as a thicker jersey, slub, french terry, or interlock.
You can absolutely use other types of knits (or even some wovens may work)
but please keep in mind that it will drape differently. This is a very oversized
romper. - 3/8” (1cm) elastic
- 3 snap sets (if doing crotch snaps on shorties version)

Troubleshooting:
- If the whole pattern prints on a single page, you likely opened the wrong file (use Letter/A4, not A0 or Projector).
- If lines look fuzzy or misaligned, try “Print as image,” make sure your printer driver is up to date, and restart your computer.

Customers praised this sewing pattern as "easy to sew" and "perfect" for babies/toddlers. The romper is notably oversized with a relaxed fit. This pattern was simpler than I expected, I made shorties version with snaps at the crotch and opted to skip the envelope back on this one. Since I wanted the shorties and snaps, it didn’t seem necessary, but I have done the envelope style opening on the Anytime romper and it was still well explained in the instructions, therefore easy to do correctly.
This pattern is very much oversized, which is noted, so if you don’t want a very relaxed fit size down. :heart:️

This romper is so sweet! The perfect oversized roomy romper for babies/toddlers. Very cloth diaper friendly. My daughter needed a second layer to stay warm at night and this has been perfect. I need some practice at the elastic cuffs but am really loving them, they seem to keep everything in place better than cuffs! I've hacked this a couple times to have crotch snaps, as well as to have a full front placket and I love all the versions.
Such a great pattern! I made a couple for the Grandson in a size 2T. So cute and comfy.
The Meadow Romper is very easy to sew. I made 2 of them for my niece, her baby is due in June. Instructions are easy to follow..
Definitely oversized. Good pattern for a beginner. Finished it in a couple of hours.

I made this for my 2 year old who is generally a 2T. I made it in a 2T with the envelope back and shirt back piece. When I first sewed it, I didn’t line it up correctly one both sides so I took it apart and made sure it was even on both sides. It’s definitely oversized but it’s so cute and will last her a while. Lowland Kids patterns are the best. I sew a lot and they are my go to for new patterns and definitely are about 95% of the patterns I sew.
