Knotted Sleeper
The knotted sleeper is an amazing staple for newborns and babies who cannot walk yet! Sizes go from Preemie to 12M. For the neck finish you have the option of a crew neck or placket. To finish the sleeves you can choose between cuffs or mittens. This sleeper is our favorite on little babies because it makes those night time diaper changes a breeze!

I love to use cotton lycra knit or jersey knit for this sleeper! Any knit will work but if you use a lightweight knit the placket can be trickier. If you want the crew neck option I also suggest a knit that has a little more stretch so that it's easier to get over babies head!

It is a very easy pattern and rewarding to make. The only thing I wonder about is hoe easy or will be to put on. I would prefer this gown with an envelop neckline.

My daughter wanted the knotted gowns so I purchased this pattern and was not disappointed at all. Instructions are well written and easy to follow. I purchased other patterns but didn't review because I haven't made them yet but I'm sure they'll be great too. Good price as well. As with most to all of these printable patterns (not just here), I wish the smaller pieces could be combined onto one sheet of paper so there wasn't so much waste. I'm sure it's a software thing but it would be nice if the software allowed the users to move pieces around like you can do with my quilting software. It does come with the files for A0 and projector though if have the capabilities for it or want to pay for it. Regardless, I'm quite happy with my purchase.
I used a scrap of cotton Lycra I've had in my stash forever. Took me a minute to get the button closure right. It's new born size and so tienie tiny that some of it was a struggle but we got there in the end. Can't wait to gift it to the new babe xx

Very simple to follow pattern! The gown is beautiful
This was very easy and fairly quick to sew. I did the button plaquet and found it worked best with some wash away stabilizer on both top and bottom when doing the buttonholes. It took me a few tries to get them done. It is adorable!
