Adult Dolman
Now the Mamas can match their littles! The adult dolman pattern comes with new options including: regular and full length cut lines, banded or hemmed short sleeves, cuffed long sleeves, and a traditional or split waistband.
This is not quite as relaxed as the children pattern so we suggest sizing up in width for a more relaxed fit. Because our bodies are all so different we also highly recommend reading through the instructions and making a muslin before cutting into your pretty fabric to make sure you have the fit how you want it!
Another important thing to note is the sleeve size. The intended finished length of the sleeve hits right at the wrist. Some testers found that they wanted more length so that the sleeve doesn’t come up when they lift their arms. Please make sure you check the finished measurements prior to making your dolman.

- If the whole pattern prints on a single page, you likely opened the wrong file (use Letter/A4, not A0 or Projector).

What a fantastic pattern! I love the 'hide layers' option for printing. The size chart is bang on. I have been sewing for years but am new to knits. The pattern was very easy from start to finish. I was trying on my new dolman in a couple short hours.

A bit tight
My favorite pattern so far! I’ve made three! My son actually said, “This is fire! Where’d you get it from?” (Teenager:sweat_smile:) When I told him I made it he asked me to make him one too. So it’s a win win!! I will have to extend the sleeves a bit but I think he will love it. I’ve made the shorter version(short torso) and I think I’ll make it even shorter for a more cropped look. I did make the neck band shorter and less high the third time.

I found it was really big and didn't sit nice.
I've made this a few times now - I still can't quite figure out the fit. It's VERY baggy for my "regular" measurements. So I sized down, but then the sleeves are weirdly short? I finally ended up sizing down 2 sizes, but adding lots of length back to the sleeves. That said, really cute to wear and easy to sew.
Love the look of this. The sizing was perfect, easy to sew with great directions. Made two now and I third one planned!
This is the first piece of clothing I’ve made for myself instead of my kids. The pattern was incredibly simple and the end result was so cute! I added an inch to the sleeves which turned out to be the perfect length for me. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love it! I've always wanted to do a split hem, but have been worried it would be too hard. It was so simple. Patterns are written fantastically.
Fun easy sew. I wanted an oversized look so first one I sewed a large (I typically wear medium, 5 ft 7 for reference) I added length to the sleeves as per the instructions but they were still a bit short. I also found the neckline a bit too wide. Next one I did a size small for the neckline mashed up with a size large and the neck was much better. I added a significant amount to the sleeves and also to length of the bodice and now it’s perfect. Not a fan of having to do so many adjustments to a pattern as I won’t remember next time I go to sew it, but overall happy with how the second sew turned out.

Super cute and pretty easy to put together! I loved making this and showing off what I’ve made to my family and friends. I will definitely use this pattern again to make a couple more for myself! Giving one to a friend as a maternity shirt, and I think it will turn out super great! Might use this pattern to make lots of Christmas gifts. The instructions were pretty easy, the sleeves were easy to lengthen and the garment was beautiful!
So quick and easy to sew! Exactly what I was looking for to sew up some French terry from my stash. I loved it so much I bought the kid version to make a matching one for my son, but my partner has stolen my one so I’ve barely had the chance to wear it. I’ll be making a t-shirt with the short sleeved version next.

I sewed this up for my husband and I still have to make one for myself. It was very easy. The directions were well written. I didn’t have any rib, so I just used the FT which made the neck a little funny. I wish using the same fabric was in the pattern. Overall it looks nice and we were both happy with it.
