Adult Racer Tank
This tank is easy to make and even easier to wear! It's a loose fitting athleisure style tank and runs a tad long (based off of 5’ 4” height). About half of the testers wanted to size down for a more semi fitted look. The other half preferred the loose fit that it’s drafted as. Because everyone likes their clothes to fit differently, please keep this in mind when selecting your size.
You can choose from a regular racerback tank or a open tie back. This tank has instructions and pieces for bands (not binding).
As always, I highly suggest making a muslin before cutting your extra special fabric.

Materials:
Jersey - Drapey lightweight jersey (8oz or lighter) works best for this tank. I also suggest using rib for the bands but using the same fabric as the main works.

I’ve only tried the regular back so far but this pattern is beyond easy! The fit and length is so so comfy and the perfect tank! So easy to sew up and so quick!

Although I had to make an alteration to accommodate my small frame, I just love this pattern. Have made many lowland styles for kids, this was my first adult attempt & it’s great. I wear this tank a lot, as I love the fit as well as the fabric. Have several cut out& waiting…. It’s a quick& easy sew. I made the straps about 1.5” shorter on front& back, making the armholes fit perfectly,& maintaining the neckline lying perfectly. I often have fit issues w tanks/sleeveless tops, but this was an easy& effective fix - it looks& wears exactly as I like. Way to go lowland!

One of my favorite sews by lowland! The pattern is very easy to follow and comes together quickly! The length is ideal for those that like a longer flowing top. I found it fit perfectly on me.

Im 5'7" and 170 lbs, the medium fit me perfectly! Definitely size down! The length hits me right at my hips when tied for the straight hem. It'd hit mid hip if untied. I've gotten so many compliments on it and will be making more. The pattern is really quick and easy sew! Love the back.
I chose to size down and it slightly fitted, which I love. The open back is so cute. Easy to follow instructions.

Love wearing this top, chose the large open back. Use to making children’s clothes so binding seamed endless 😂 next one would like to use my binder tool. Length was good as well. Seamed slightly gaping under arm seam … wanted to pinch an inch there. Other than that it was perfection! Great pattern - thank you for your continued wonderful work!!
