Troubleshooting:
- If the whole pattern prints on a single page, you likely opened the wrong file (use Letter/A4, not A0 or Projector).
- If lines look fuzzy or misaligned, try “Print as image,” make sure your printer driver is up to date, and restart your computer.

Adorable pattern. This was my first time doing a split front short but the instructions were clear enough that it wasn’t difficult! I love the different looks you get when you use knit or woven fabric. Great to dress up or down! Can’t wait to make 847283 more pairs. I would also love to have a ruffle on the adult version to match my mini-me’s shorts.

Although I do enjoy sewing *most* Lowland Kids patterns, this pattern was an absolute miss. Multiple pattern pieces are mislabeled. When I brought this up to the pattern-maker, the response was "oh" with no intention to fix it. Also myself and other pattern purchasers expressed frustration in the Facebook group that the instructions for inseam pockets execution are very sloppy. If you are working with wovens, the I structures (as currently written / available on 10/23) will leave you with a "finished" product that has raw edges. This was an incredibly disappointing purchase and absolutely not the quality that I expected from Lowland Kids.
Really simple to make, instructions are clear. Super comfy, love them.
I would help (me) if you’d number the pattern pieces, it took me a while to figure out what piece to cut (still not sure if I did it 100% right) how and sew although I have a lot of sewing experience. I think I was supposed to leave the left piece out of the big one when I want to make the shorts with the two pieces. Or not? Once i sewed it, I loved it! Looks realy flattering.
I mostly make children's clothing but decided I needed a new pair of summer pjs. I paired the breezy shorts with the oversized v-neck. Sew quick and easy to make and now I have the most comfortable set of pjs I've ever owned. I will me making more for sure and looking more at the adult patterns for myself.
They seem to run very very large. The pattern is very cute but i had to shave off so much material to get them to fit. They are way tok wide
I’ve had a hard time finding a shorts pattern for myself (a 2x) and these are absolutely perfect! I love how they fit and are very TTS

I'm a beginner sewist. This was pretty easy to sew up. A bit annoying when trying to catch the top of the pocket in the waistband seam, but I'll chalk that up to being a newbie. The fit is okay on me. I lengthened the elastic by 1in, though next time I may do some grading between sizes. The pattern was easy to follow overall, though I was a bit confused at the very beginning when trying to figure out how to get started laying out the front pieces and pockets with right side versus wrong side- the pattern was terribly explicit with this part.

These are seriously so cute! I can already tell I’m going to pretty much LIVE in these all summer! I now want to make a ton of them because they are so comfortable. I chose the Size XXS for myself and I would say these run just a tad bigger than True sizing, but overall this is a GREAT pattern! I took off about an inch on the elastic for the waistband(I also used 2in elastic) and it fits perfectly. I love that it has so many options! ❤️ I used French Terry for the pair in the attached photos. I’ve honestly worn them 3 times since making them a few days ago because they are that good!!

Easy to follow instructions, and the process from start to finish was fast. My only piece of feedback is that it would be helpful to have the finished garment measurements listed for each size, or some idea of the ease that's included. I know the instructions say the shorts are "baggy" but in the picture on the model, they don't look especially "baggy" so it was kind of confusing which size to cut. Obviously I didn't make a muslin version first, though, so perhaps that's on me!
Quick to make; super cute. Made them for my adult daughter who said they could have been one size smaller even though I chose pattern size by her measurements. I made them in a knit; she uses them for pj’s. She’s very happy!
